The only changes that I have made since this picture was taken, was to add some 'VVT-i' badging (4" wide aluminum 3D badge) to the lower rear doors on both sides, and a white 4" Star Trek Federation logo symbol :biggrin: to the rear window under the center brake light. Yes, I'm a TV-series (all of them) Star Trek geek, and my boxy-sleek little Yaris reminds me of their shuttle-crafts, lol. :laugh:

My color-matched 040 Super-White Visual Garage Shark Fin Fractal Antennae is my favorite mod so far, and really improved the look/profile of the car, in my opinion. I'm also looking forward to switching out the wheels sometime in mid-late 2016, and moving up one-notch from 195/50/R16 to 205/50/R16 tires. Too much black in the OEM wheel design for my taste. I will probably go ahead and add a TRD rear sway bar at the same time.

Alright a fellow Trekker! TOS fan here. Can enjoy all the others but its Kirk, Spock, McCoy for me. Can't forget Scotty either, a Chief Engineer like myself. (Although I work in NY harbour, not outer space.)

I was thinking of a Vulcan Science Academy decal for the rear window but decided to keep my obsessions seperate.

It baffles me why Toyota would make regional variations of Yaris/Etc. details/equipment - such as the lower rear backup lights on the North American Yaris versions to name one of many (are they integrated into the taillights in other countries/regions, or just not installed due to differences in auto laws?). Seems like it would raise costs unnecessarily, regardless. :confused:

That's been baffling me too.
The new ones are made in France
and for instance the only motor to get in Denmark is 1.33/99HP
while in the US it's 1.5/??HP or in the UK DAB radio is standard, in Denmark FM only ?
All from the same factory.
BTW I have driven a RAV4 since 2007 and just ordered my first Yaris (due in Sept. T2 Style Benzin)

+1 on that too ^ On more of a looks thing the bumpers are also different on the US and the UK models. I quite like the SE models bumpers and really want to install them onto my UK spec, kind of wish they were all options!!
