I know this question has been asked multiple times, but I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.
Anyone that has swapped in the scion HU able to get the aux port to work? I was attempting to go off what some of the first gen xB guys have done, but they seem to have slightly different harnesses, and can't figure it out.
I do not own an iPod, so I'm not looking for the harness that plugs in. I have an android, and want to do this right. If anyone has any information regarding this matter I'm all ears. Thanks in advance.

Which HU are you talking about? I am wondering about the same thing on the T1807!
Cheers! M2

Unsure of the model #, but this one. Bought it off a fellow member here a few weeks ago. Said he purchased the iPod cable, and never had a use for the aux port. Everything else went smoothly, but for some reason its not working with the new HU.

The Aux pinout is the same for that HU, but the T1809s are notorious for Aux jack issues. One silly thing that seems to help for some is to try switching to AUX with the phone plugged into a charger. That should have nothing to do with the headset cable, but for some reason it does solve the issue for some people.

I'll slap it back together tomorrow, and try that. It worked fine with the factory HU, and I don't want to have to revert back just for the aux. Thx guys!

Otherwise, have you found that HU to be an improvement over stock?

That did the trick! Thanks Scott!!
