So I bought a Goodyear Hybrid 28 (http://goodyearwiperblade.com/product-lines/goodyear-hybrid/)" wiper from Costco a few days ago, and I can't figure out how to install them. The hook installation method does not work since the adapter doesn't even fit into the hook. Had anyone installed these wipers before? Suggestions on what to do would be great. Thank you!

I would suggest just getting an OEM 30" wiper blade refill from the local Toyota dealer. They only cost about $10. The 30" wiper is so efficient that I would hesitate installing a shorter wiper.

I want to avoid my local dealership, I've already had several bad experiences with the servicing department, 2.8 stars on yelp, and I am in a strange position where I just need the install to work.

Update: I finally got it installed. I actually can't tell the difference in the amount of area swept by a 28 inch blade, vs the factory wiper, but it does the job. For anyone out there that ever gets a Goodyear Hybrid wiper in the future 1) you'll have to pull out the adapter that is already installed in the new wiper itself, 2) Attach the adapter onto the hook of the car's wiper mechanism, and 3) instead of pushing the hook w/ the adapter straight onto and into the new wiper blade, the hook and the adapter has to go into the wiper's cutout first, from an angle, before you lock it in.
