So in searching some of the older threads I think I am starting to get the early signs of the brake booster going. When I come to a stop I can feel the idle stumble for a second or two and then go back to normal. It actually started doing it a while back and is slowly getting a little worse but does not do it every time I stop. Still not real bad though. So is it safe to assume when you replace the booster you have to disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder and bleed the entire system? Do you have to remove other parts to get the booster out since it is way up in there behind the master cylinder. Done brake boosters before but on much older vehicles (1975 era). Just wondering what I am up against when the day comes. Cant believe it is going out with only 320,000 miles on the car:biggrin:

I've not done a Yaris, but it's very unusual to need to disconnect the hydraulic lines. Typically you just unplug the vacuum hose, unbolt master from booster (and pull it out of the way with brake lines still attached), disconnect pedal, unbolt booster.
