HID Help Quick

I'm installing this HID i got today, and i got some problems, can you guys help me out quick?
Here are some pics.
Plugs everything in, but the lights not on. Did i plug the connector in right?

In your first pic, keep the black wire where it is, switch the other.

By mistake, I had mine hooked up backwards, and a simple switch-a-roo corrected it.

It "could" be it.. try it.

is that HID kit or real HID projector.

u got 3 wires coming out of the car.

So on the pass side:
black = positive
green = high ground
blue = low ground

driver's side:
grey = positive
brown = high ground
green = low ground

Now. If your thing doesn't use high beam, don't worry bout the high ground cable.

make sure tehy all go to a relay first. Than from there it goes int othe ballast with a ground.

Low ground will go into relay, 85 or 86. positive will go into 85 or 86.
30 goes to battery, 87 (not 87a) go to ballast with a direct ground wire thats hooked to the negative of the battery. than from ballast it goes to bulb.

Give it a shot.

Let me know if your thing runs high beams.

Also if you don't use relay...umm...i wouldn't recommended cause I don't think it will work...see common positive is always there, so does low ground for low beam (make sure DRL is not installed).

86(positive always active) and 85(active only when turned on), when they make contact, it activates 30 (battery) and 30 activates 87 which goes to ballast (ground is also in ballast (direct to negative battery))

Makes sense?

Also here's a hint, make sure your ground is WELL GROUNDED...
if its not it wont work n u will think its something else that's broken.

Ground it nice and tight.

I think that's easier and cheaper IMO.
I bought two from him to practice my thingy...he makes good harness.

This thing is single beam only, no highbeam, i dont have the money to get the HID Bixenon yet. This is all i can get at the moment so far.

If its a simple plug n play kit, rule out the simple stuff first.. Blen is correct though about running a relay, rather then just plugging into the stock connector. Powering off the battery is the best way even with just a regular plug n play kit (as opposed to a complete retro fit).

Do yourself a favor and get a proper harness. If you can't afford a real HID system, you surely can't afford to have your electrical system diagnosed and repaired after you screw it up by wiring directly to the factory harness.

Yeah that is what i'm going to do now, Blenjar gave me the site, i will get it from them. what do you mean by the Real HID System? :confused:

GOod price IMO.
He's no longer a vendor but go http://www.mobilehid.com/
Contact him and say u just want harness.

one quick question. What is the different between Plug n Play and the one from MobileHID which is you have to wire it in your Battery (i guess) correct me if i'm wrong. Are they the same quality?
