Ahh Yarisworld, today is a sad day because I finally decided that I will be parting out my car.. Not selling the car, but she will be close to stock. I really need to just have a solid commuter for school. So, I decided to use the Yaris for what I originally bought it for, to be a great commuter with no headaches. Get me to point A to B with not having to worry about camber wear or being limited to where to go. So, I have a few people interested in some parts already, but here's everything that I have for sale just in case people back out. Will not be shipping anything out so this will be for anyone local in Northern Cali. I will start putting the car to stock ASAP.

Megan Racing coilovers (no dampening adjustment knobs, but they can be adjusted with the right size allen key) - $600 (Would gladly offer a discount in exchange for stock struts with lowering springs) (These are already pending for stock struts + Tein springs + $500 cash)

6" 10k and 5" 8k Swift springs (Less than 1k miles on them) - $250 for both.

22mm Whiteline adjustable rear sway bar - $150

10mm PG hubcentric spacers + extended hub bolts - $50

Scion FRS Pioneer headunit (PT546-00130 Bluetooth/HD radio compatible) - $100

-3 RealCamber shims + extended hub bolts. (I JUST BOUGHT THESE lol had to buy them separately too so I'm definitely not making any profit lol) These are great though, at the height I'm at I definitely saw right away how much it corrected my toe - $160

16x9 JNC 014 +25 wrapped in 195/45R16 Achilles ATR Sport Tires (Would be willing to trade for some OEM 15 inch wheels plus cash on your end) - $500

If you are in Northern Cali please shoot me a text if you're interested in anything. Thanks guys!

Ouch, i'm sure that was a tough choice to make to bring it back to stock.

Too bad I don't live anywhere near you i'd love some of those parts (I guess if I had some cash it would also help).

I'm in a similar boat to you. Commute 5 days/week to Toronto to med school on rough roads in bad conditions. I have heavily modified my Yaris about as far as i'm willing to take it to keep the drivability still good and the dependability just as high. That said, my Yaris now compared to stock is a he'll of a lot more fun to drive and can be pushed a lot harder.

Any reason why you're not keeping the spacers and rear sway bar? I figured it would still give you decent handling without affecting drivability or reliability.

Yeah man it definitely was a tough decision, but my main focus is getting through school and just having a reliable commuter is what I really need. The roads to school are pretty bad as well and I even carpool with my classmates. I hated saying "Ahh I can't take a full car" lol. So yes, I'm looking to just get her on some stock or aftermarket struts, with some lowering springs, and maybe some OEM 15s, and just cruise and enjoy the car. Now that you mention it, I may actually keep the rear sway bar and 10mm PG hub spacers.

Haha sorry, I'm keeping it

Thank you! It's attached to your front towhook.

A lot of my friends were sad when I told them what I was doing, they're really making me change my mind, but I don't know.. :iono: Not 100% sure on the part out anymore.

Yeah man it's great. I had a RHO plate version on my previous cars and the microimage one was far more superior in terms of quality. No rust or change in color and it's been over 2 years.

You don't have to part out the Yaris to make it DD friendly and improve drivability. Just make some changes:

get rid of the crazy hella flush look, just go with penguin 10mm spacers and use rims with less of an offset

increase the ride height an inch or two

those are really the only two things causing the majority of your problems from my understanding. Then you still have a good looking car that you've put your heart and soul into and you don't need to drive around with an econo box with a side mounted license plate

Thanks man! I may try out of the ones on ebay. looks like they are anodized so oxidizing shouldn't be an issue.

Hahaha true, it's still up in the air so we'll see what the plan is.

No problem man! And yeah hopefully that'd be good. I'm sure the quality is still good.
