Car dealers - the not stereotype.

I have an extensive new car buying history and this aint nuthin new!

My last 2 cars were BMW's -- my local BMW dealer is a good guy, so they're not all bad.

Trying to buy a 2016 SE A4 red (not that black/ red combo new this year).

The 1st dealer purposely lied just to get me down there knowing it was the red/ black.

The 2nd dealer misrepresented his 2015 ... idiot! - I don't want a car manufactured in 7/2015 and sitting on the lot for 6 months!

... and the 3rd dealer is asking msrp and actually let me walk without negotiating.

A contributor to the problem is that this is Silicon Valley and there's just more money that brains here!

Have you seen the new Mazda CX-3? sweeeeet!

What's wrong a red, 15 that's sat for 6 months?

My white 2015 manual SE sat on the lot unwanted in Colorado Springs for approx. 8 months before I bought it in late July/2015 (it was manufactured in France back in late 2014, lol) - but the dealer also accepted my first "lowball" offer without even haggling (which really surprised me). I ending up getting a great deal, even after shipping the car to my home in Arizona, and 6 months later I still absolutely love my snarky little SE.

This all depending on location if the car is located up here with winter and the weather not so nice I would pass.
Specially if the car has been PDI I would just order one, problem is I find that dealerships have a tendency to PDI cars soon as they arrive.
So unless it's still wrapped with plastic and not PDI and in a good climate area I would like said pass...but that is just me unless it's stupid priced to move lol
