I just bought a 1.3L 2006 Yaris 3dr / coupe / hatchback in Australia.
I bought a pair of plastic vent visors from the USA:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-Vent-Window-Visor-Out-Channel-2pc-Toyota-Yaris-2-Door-07-11-2007-2011-/161982173108?fits=Model%3AYaris&hash=item25b6e3cfb4:g:vpAAAOSwX~dWnsvP&vxp=mtr
They say they are for a 2007-2011 2-door Yaris hatchback. From my research, it appears that the 2006 and 2007 models are actually the same.
But.... the vent visors don't fit. The length is correct, but the curvature doesn't match that of my door.
So now I'm confused. The 2006 Australia model looks exactly the same as a 2007 American model. It's a 1.3L engine while America only has the 1.5L.
Is there any reason why the body shapes would be different between these two?
