Hi All,
I was reading a previous thread from 2009, where a member bought a cluster from AU to the USA, and there was mention in there from someone else about getting a part of the digital cluster to work, namely, the gear position indicator.
According the Owners Manual, the "Cruise information" only works on South African models (this shows your DTE, average speed, ambient temperature, etc). Underneath the tachometer there is this small box with a couple of letters and a multi-segment display that should be able to show what gear is engaged.

The posts stopped on that thread back in 2009, so seeing as it 7 years later, is there a way to get this to work? It doesn't really matter if it can't be done - it's just something I would like to have on the dash
