i need to get a tint ticket written off and i REALLY don't want to pull the tint off, so if anyone would be kind enough to let me borrow your windows to get it written off i'd be greatly indebted to you. i would switch the windows out really quick (im a qualified and certified mechanic) run down to the police sub station and get it written off, then swtich them back, so if you know anyone willing or even know a cop that will write it off let me know

I have been pulled over for tint soo many times.... I always get the "you know your tint is a lil to dark, don't ya?" I always say, well I ask for the same darkness that is on SUV's so I would be legal, and Cops let me go every time

it's different here, in california you can't have ANYTHING on the front windows, but you can black out the back windows

It's unfortunately no better than NY. You can tint the back window anything and only 70% on the fronts except the driver side isn't supposed to have ANY. And the area that I live started cracking down on that about a year ago because of two cops that got shot having pulled someone over with really dark tints in two different incidents. They couldn't see inside to tell that the person had pulled a gun.
I don't even think there is a place that carries 70% tint. 50% is the minimum you'll find anywhere.

It depends on the area, and luck of the draw.....

I had a friend who got pulled over for 35 on the fronts 3 days after had it done, as to where i had 5 on the fronts for 3 years and never got pulled over, i have 35 on my yaris and its been 6 months......it just depends on the cops....
