That title might get some attention.
Ok, so
I have an 03 echo sedan (1.5l 5door manual)
I want to know, can I lower it by putting in springs from a hatchback or other Yaris/echo.

The idea comes from my friend who had a Suzuki escudo, and raised it by putting in springs from a vatara. ( the escudos bigger brother)

Any thoughts?

If you ask me it would be a waste of time , first of all raising it is one thing lowering another ..also the price for after market springs is so cheap why even bother experimenting.
Also keep in mind the ride quality will suck if you use springs from other cars since they are not intended for the weight of yours....etc

You COULD but the spring would be too soft and you're going to be bottoming out your shocks and killing them very quickly.
