Poor reception and radio harness

Hi,

I just install an aftermarket radio witch is a Dual brand, the only problem is the poor reception, in fact, any local station has a poor signal. However, the antenna connector is connected correctly. Any idea?

The factory radio come with three harness, it take only two for the aftermarket radio to make it work. What is the use of the third harness?

Our antenna are powered. Make sure you have wired in the antenna power, not just the big black signal wire. There have been a number of instances over the years where people have not hooked up the power wire. Without it, reception truly does suck.

Yes it must be that, because i connect the two blue lead togheter witch one come from the after market radio and the other to the harness adapter. Everything ok now. I still dont know what is the use of the third harness. Is it possible this is for steering control option?
