while i worked on yaris yesterday, i noticed the floor rubber plugs were missing and the floor insulation was soak wet. the carpet seems dry inside. do i need to pull the carpet to dry it? How? the holes correspond to rear foot areas.

Thanks!

Modern carpets breathe well. Just keep air flow over it (no floor mats etc) and it will dry out on its own. Use your A/C or defrost to dry out the air while driving too.

I like to run a household dehumidifier in the car with an extension cord gently closed in the door to dry a car out.

thanks! it's dry and warm this week (for a change). if it doesn't dry by itself till weekend, i'll try something else. I thought exposing the padding would help, but don't know how.
