Standard lock question

I have a 2014 Yaris L with the standard locking system (not keyless). When I unlock the driver's door, is the passenger door supposed to unlock too ? It's not doing it.The rear hatch automatically locks and unlocks with the drivers door .:iono:

With the Gen2, one twist of the key unlocks the driver door, two twists of the key unlocks the passenger doors. Cannot comment on the Gen3, but maybe it operates the same way.

I gave this advise to a Gen2 owner recently. He had actually owned the car for many years and was unaware of this unlocking feature.

Thanks. When I got to work too early this morning I found this info in the manual, which I should have checked before posting this question.

My 1995 Tacoma does the same thing. Odd to get used to if you've never had it before. Even more odd was explaining to my wife why I was twisting the key in the lock and not getting in.
