So I understand we have to remove the roof linear to remove the antenna base and also the rear right C pillar cover to get to the cable connections. What about for cars that have an SRS airbag in the right rear pillar? anybody encounter that problem? Any tips on how to remove that pillar cover without setting off the SRS airbag?

Any time work is to be done where an airbag is concerned, disconnect the battery and wait at least 10 minutes before proceeding.

This times infinity. I've seen techs try and do it the quick way and set stuff off.

has anybody replaced their antenna and also removed the roof liner on a car that has the c-pillar airbag on the rear pillar? any good tips or DIY on how to do that?
