Low Idle fixed!

Well, I just bought the Yaris with 65K miles. Once the car is at operating temp the idle seems to drop a little too low for my taste, the low idle caused some vibration what appears to be soft engine mounts, a low freq vibration enough to be annoyed.

So I changed out the plugs that didn't do it, but after cleaned the MAF and replaced the air filter, the low idle problem is now gone.

Using my phone Torque App I was able to see a 40 RPM increased at idle, the car idles nice and smooth now at 600 RPM.

Wish I had performed the above 2 tasks one at a time, but doesn't matter they both makes sense for the increase of RPM anyway.

cool, i have that problem in another car (RAV4), especially with AC on. it's due for air filter change. will see if that helps.

That's strange. Usually with A/C on the idle should raise. But, good luck.
