Hi guys. First time poster.

I have a 2007 Yaris with 189 000 kilometers on it.

I have problem with my alternator since a couple weeks.
First, the strap broke. So I replaced it.
Now, every morning, when I leave home, the battery light is open but is "flashing" is doesn't stay lite, but is not off, it's kinda glittering.

This morning, the dashboard light was on. So I stop after like 5 min thinking it would have turned off since then. So I stopped and opened the hood to find that the alternator was running.
When I got back in the car, I fastened my seat belt, and the light was still there and it was beeping.

What should I do to fix my alternator ?

Sorry for my English. It's not my first language.

Search 'voltage regulator'.

Corrosion issue is a very common problem with 2006-2008.

Yes, you can probably get one from a newer car at the auto wrecker.
