What do people think about installing KYB front right and left quick struts on a 2011 Yaris? My 2011 Yaris needs new front struts, mounts, and spring coils, I'm not exactly sure what caused the damage to those parts... if it was the accident I was in about a year ago or the shoddy condition of the roads or both... but I'm wondering whether I should get the parts separately or if I should just get the KYB brand full front quick strut assembly which includes all of those parts. What do you guys think?

Quick struts can be a good option. The only real problem is that they come with new springs that have not settled or sagged. It can cause the front of the vehicle to sit higher than the rear. Some vehicles are obvious, some less so, and some not at all. I don't know how the Yaris fairs in this regards. I'd guess it would be OK as Yaris is not known for sagging.

Cheers.

Cory,

I had my front struts replaced with the quick struts just about a month ago , and find that the car bounces continuously . Is this something that is going to go away after a little use or what is wrong ?? I am an old man and find it very stressful driving it in that condition.

Saint ,
Was it the KYB's? I am looking into something for the front/rear.
