Been working too much - not enough road trips!

A loop out HWY 50 Nevada (the loneliest highway) to western Utah and back thru Salt Lake, Bonneville and Reno

3 days 1650 miles

How do you like the performance of the LED headlamps? Nice car and pictures!

Absolutely enjoy the pics you share of your cool road trips; thanks. 1600+ miles on her and she doesn't even have plates yet! Love it.

Planning a Sequoia National Park weekend run as a late birthday adventure for myself next week. Wish I could take the Yaris and get some epic shots of a tiny car next to enormous trees, but given the faq'n airbag recall, I can't trust it, so it's the wife's Accord being called for duty. It's just not right!

Car is 6 months old now with ~6k miles ... all road trips.

I never put the plate on any of my cars for as long as I can ... prefer the plateless look ... as long as the car looks new, there's no reason for a cop to pull me over for it ... been doing it for years.

Haven't been to sequoia/ Kings Canyon since the 90s ... before digital cameras existed so I have no pics.

Same here. Exactly why I'm itching to get back.

Man, that's paranoid.

I've been itching to drive mine from Phoenix, AZ to Atlanta, GA (and back again) to visit friends/family, instead of flying. Road-trips are fun!

Man, that's paranoid.

I wouldn't call it paranoid. California is listed as one of the red states on the recall notice based on the fluctuating heat and humidity. At 9 yrs old, the car is well within the range of there being a very real chance of someone being injured if sitting in that seat when the airbag deploys. If we have a second car to use, I look at it as being safe rather than sorry. What would be the benefit of taking the risk?

hi justanotherdrunk,
feeling like you are taking me on the same trip, great photos!
Can spot your ride on the Salt Flats from miles away!
