I need to get the wing mirror, outer cover removed from my 2016 Yaris to repair a scrape. Could someone tell me how to remove the cover, or direct me to the right info, without destroying it.
Thanks,
Tom.

If im correct they will come out by removing the mirror glass first (push all the way up, then unhook gently with hands from the bottom--search in the forum) and the cover's clips should be visible/accessible from there (the inside of the shell).

I did a video a while back on upgrading to heated mirrors that may or may not help you. You need to jump forward to the 4:00 minute mark to see what I think you are talking about.

Well I wasn't paying attention....you have a 2016 and the video is for a 2010...who knows, they may be similar.

Thanks for the input fellas.
I managed to get it all sorted. I popped the mirror off and that allowed me access to the cover tabs on the inside and so it came off without a hitch.
Cost me £30 to get it resprayed.
Cheers,
Tom.
