Hi All,

I hope one of you can help clarifying this ...

As it is I'd like to replace the spark plugs in my Toyota Yaris Verso (TOYOTA YARIS VERSO (NLP2_, NCP2_) - 1.3 (NCP20_, NCP22_) (86Hk)) and in these forums have read that in general Denso and NGK is recommended.

I've also read that iridium may be preferred due to durability. However, are iridium spark plugs better/in practice much more durable or would I be almost as well off with standard spark plugs (like e.g. the Denso K16R-U11)?

Also, in case there's a clear advantage with using iridium types may you suggest a suitable type/model for this car? When I search Denso's homepage I get these suggestions:

http://www.globaldenso.com/cgi-bin/global/plug/euro/4w/4w-detail.cgi?filename=4w-93.txt&no=11199

... and I wonder if all of them are suitable or if there is a preferred model?

I'm soon off on vacation and would like to replace the spark plugs first - so many thanks for help in this ...

Cheers

Jesper

if you look at his post, he has the 1.33
I believe they both use the same plugs though...

factory plugs are good for 100,000 miles. I don't think you will get better plugs for cheaper. I don't think spending more money will benefit you in any way...
