Heres the circumstances:

Changed the oil and filter last Oct 1 and drove 2500 miles when I got to April 1 when I just changed the oil. Kept the filter.

Since April Ive done only 1200 miles. Was planning to change oil and filter again but the oil looks like NEW on the dipstick. I did 500 mile LD in three days but the rest 10 miles non stop per week to charge the battery and get the oil circulating. Theres a lot of 2 miles roundtrips in there too. Yeah....a lot of that...

WHat would you do? Also...I plan to only drive 2000 maybe 3000 miles a year from now on. What do you recommend for maintenance?

Thanks!

I'd leave the oil. If the temperatures are warm then there likely won't be any moisture in your oil.

Once the cold comes I'd hit the highway for a 30min drive once per week. If you do that then your oil should be fine. If you don't do that then I'd change the oil after the season to get the moisture out of it.

you can use Brake Fluid Tester to test if your brake fluid is water contained.

you should be fine. this is considered "harsh driving" with short trips. if this was my situation i'd change oil every 3500 miles regardless of time. and filter every other oil change.
