Good question. Thats a 23.7% loss, kinda high for a FWD, but not too bad - usually FWD manual cars don't top 20% loss.

Mods: Megan Racing header, Envy highflow/sports cat, 2.25 in. piping all the way, Megan Racing exhaust, Perrin lightweight crank pulley, Envy cold air intake.

The guy with the dyno said his machine is real accurate, many national racing teams use his dyno for tuning and results.

Interesting that my redline is at 6645 rpm's.

Looks good. I'm still curious if that megan header is making any power. We never got a real answer out of that one.

you wont see much of a gain from just headers.

Its a 1.5 liter Yaris, which is a T-Sport, this is what its called here in Europe, the 1.5 liter that is. We also have 1.0 and 1.3 liter Yaris engine cars as well. The stock numbers on mine are 105 hp with 105 lbs/ft of torque.

Now with mods the numbers are 117.5 hp with 110 lbs/ft of torque and almost 90 hp on the wheels.

i thought stock on that is 108 hp.. so you had gain about 9 hp ..isnt it

I had a stock dyno early last year giving me 105.2hp and 104 lbs/ft of torque.

Again reinforcing the importance of lightweight wheels! I think the header will make some difference, but I can't imagine opening up the exhaust and intake and not re-mapping the fuel curve and increasing redline. It would seem it would lean out way too much. The stock ECU has a range it operates in, but I bet you could find 5 more HP with a better map easily.

There are some piggy-back units I've seen, and one that might even change the cam timing? (Maybe that one was just for VTEC).

Thanks for sharing!! It's good to see there are some ponies waiting in there!

Yeah, definitely some more ponies in there, perhaps with a piggy back setup, thats something I will look into...

Is that when the rev limiter kicks in?

If I'm reading it right (and I know no Hungarian), its actually 116hp. 117.5 PS, which is a German unit of horsepower and equal to ~0.98632 English/America HP. Not that that really makes any difference.

Yeah, redline kicks in at around 6645/6650rpm's... Im not sure about what it actually is, but the guy who did the dyno has been doing it for years and is well known in the country about tuning and dyno's, he said that its 117.5hp...
