Hi all...
Have a 2013 yaris 1.5L engine. Was in an accident that resulted in the gear selector cable being bent, or so I presume - thats what my dad thinks after he has also had a look at it. He thinks we will have some trouble with the gears due to this, so we have been trying to source a replacement but with little luck. An interstate wreckers has a cable from a 2014 model but with a 1.3L engine - however my dad is worried that it may not be the same as mine.
Just looking for advice or if anyone knows where I could find one, I called the dealership and they said they could order it from Japan for $430 :laugh:
If anyone has a photo or picture of a gear selector cable from a 2014 / 1.3L as previously mentioned, it would be greatly appreciated as even if we have some kind of reference we would be progressing somewhat! So hard to find any online :confused:
