2012 Toyota yaris base model able to have keyless entry?

Hello everyone! I have a 2012 hatchback 4 door yaris that is the base model, no electric windows but it does have electric locks. I have asked the dealership where it was purchased if they had the key fobs for it and they said they do not sell any for the 2012 yaris' not even the more expensive models but they never told me if I was able to get an after market one and if it will work. I've had it since it was brand new and now that I have a small child I would like to be able to unlock it with the push of a button instead of having to put the key in the door while holding my son and other things. Will my yaris allow for an aftermarket key fob to be used? Also, is there a way to set it up where it will open the hatch as well?

You will need to have a complete aftermarket keyless entry system installed. You can't just simply purchase a remote.

Hi, I bought a cheap remote for my 2012, BigHawks, I will try to install it this weekend. I found this file (https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0176/5842/files/00016-32901y.pdf), it's for a 2011 but it should be the same for a 12.

2011 sedan is the same as 2012 sedan.

2011 hatch is NOT the same as 2012 hatch.

If you own a hatch those instructions will not correspond with the appropriate pin numbers, wiring, relay locations, etc.

ok, but the wiring is at the same place in the car, no? Down by the door like shown?
After I can figure out wire color with this (http://www.commandocaralarms.com/wiring/2009-2011/toyota/yaris/2055.html).

Maybe?. I would be very cautious about splicing into wires unless I was absolutely sure I knew what was what. Too many potential problems if you get it wrong. Good luck.
