Hello everyone, sorry to bug you all with this, but I've been trying to figure out where i've gone wrong with wiring my reverse camera for some time now.
I just can't wrap my head around it...
I believe i've connected everyting the right way. The reverse trigger on my head-unit (purple wire with reverse tag attached) is connected to pin 22 of connector 4B of the fusebox behind the driver side dash.
The "+" suppy for the camera is connected to the same pin, and the "-" I've attached to a bolt on to the body of the car, to ground it.
When i switch to reverse, the image display on the head-unit switches to the camera, so that works, but for some reason i still have a "No Signal" message being displayed, and a completely black screen.
Where have I gone wrong? Do I need to find a different "+" ACC power supply? Does the reverse trigger wire not provide 12V+ power to the headunit when reverse is selected?
I will double check the connections again and make sure i didn't miss something.
