Hello I just bought a used 2006 Yaris. It came with these big rims that I don't like because I'm convinced they are making the car really bumpy because the tires are so small there's like no air cushion to them. It could also be the suspension needs replacing but I bet these wheels don't help the situation.
So I have this idea of posting on Craigslist to see if there are any local Yaris drivers who have the stock wheels and tires who would like to switch. I know some people care about looks and like the aesthetics of rims. I am going to offer to pay for the mechanic to switch them out for us.
So my question is , do newer Yaris models share the same wheels? ie. Could I offer to switch with someone who has a newer one? Are there any other car models that I would be able to switch with? Also, does this plan make any sense? I'm really new to cars and don't even know the right terminology
Thanks in advance for your help guys. I'm sure I will have more questions about my new little car that I love
