Again, another inquiry to the pros and masters 😊 Still learning alot from YarisWorld and on our newly owned Yaris 5door hatch (2.5gen) 2012
Has anyone installed these bars in their Yaris? Ultra Racing / UR fender bars and UR room interior bar?
Any pros and cons aside from added weight and taking up space at the floor? Does it really help alot in handling? See pix for deatils.
Thank you for the replies!

I hear those fender bars are a bitch to install properly. they both would increase rigidity. the fender bar would interfere with crumple zone and might make a front end collision transfer more energy to the cabin area resulting in more damage to passenger and driver

Bringin this thread back from the dead as these are my next purchases from UltraRacing. Would like some feedback from anyone who has actually used them. Currently im running both the the front upper and rear upper from Ultra Racing and my Megan Racing c pillar brace -i know it serves no function but it holds my little trees air fresheners and gets my my extra scene points at shows :) -

To be completely honest, I felt like they were just bling. I had all the bracing on my car and took them all off within 2 months. I am not slammed, but after driving over some steep bumps/driveways, I badly bent the rear 4 point and mid bar undercarriage bars while leaving the front 4 point untouched. The only item I considered an investment was their 23mm rear sway bar; compared to TRD's 19mm.
If you want "stiffer" chassis feeling, get the miracle x-bar or even better, the AutoPower roll bar.

I am wanting the miracle bar full setup but it is hard to find. On facebook there's a seller "minor mirror shop" that sells them but I had 1 friend that gave me a bad review of how it didn't fit her Yaris at all and she had to modify it in length to fit...
Autopower cage will soon come also.
I do have my eye mostly on the UR fender braces and MoonFace front control arms to try to get better feel fron the front as my rear is pretty stiff

I was the only one with the "prototype" miracle x-bar from thailand and also fitted a miracle x-bar in my Yaris -- the issue with fitment of the lower horizontal brace was that you had to remove a portion of metal in the trunk area to make that part work. But I never ran the lower horizontal bar. Curious for the review on the front control arms if/or when you get them.

I really want one like I said I just don't know a reliable seller aside from rhdjapan which has a crazy markup

If you end up with a roll bar, I would strongly suggest you switch to a fixed back seat. In the event of a crash, a reclining seat can sometimes bend backwards and slam you into the roll bar. Just food for thought.
