2015 Yaris

Is it just mine or do the new Yaris's catch a lot of rock chips and chipped paint on the hood.mines barely a year old and has a number of spots on the hood.

No its not just you. I have a 2016 and its happening to me too. I'm just going to let it go until it get's bad enough then go to a bodyshop and get the bumper/hood repainted.

This was widely reported here back when the 2nd gen's were new, too. Seems the paint on these isn't top shelf. Have had several parts re-sprayed on mine. Figured the newer ones would have been sorted, but apparently not.

mines also got the easily detachable rear bumper cover too.gotta get that looked at before it goes out of warranty.

I have a Canadian 2015, my rear bumper is still fitting good. Hopefully will stay that way.
I've had a few front end chips. It's also related to car shape, a lot of front to get smacked by wind and whatever. What I do, to try lessen the problem is I wax the front only, a few extra times yearly. Does not take to long and I think its a help. Just throwing it out there.
