Lock switch? Can you expand on that? The lock cylinder in the door? The power door lock driver? Why did you replace it's part. What was the problem before you replaced part xxxx?

Fuse?
Try looking at fuse#39 in the under dash fuse box.

I'm still a bit confused on your post. Was the system intact and working at one point?

If you didn't have the switch in the console (hatchback), then you do not have a factory system.
What tells you have factory powered door locks?

Because that is in the door and trunk does not mean it was installed, oe, or at any time working. Copy down your vin number and go to your local toyota dealer parts department and ask them if that vin came with factory locks or not. If you can't get info from them try searching a vin decoder in the forums. I'm sure you will find some posts to a good one that can provide the info. Also if you have the origonal sticker that came with the car that will help. It would be listed as an option there. If for some reason you exhaust all those options first let me know. I will get a wiring diagram and component located and help you.
