Hi all,

My friend has a polo 2011 model.
When I got in I was amazed with the soundproof of the car. Just wow.
No sounds from the road whatsoever.
Crystal clear music sound with the proper bass (even in the stock headunit-speakers that he has). The only thing you can hear is the pleasure sound of the engine. Just a little roar.

So this made me think. What the f is going on with the soundproof on yaris? Ok I understand the a vw polo is way more expensive than a Yaris but still.

The sound from the speakers is Terrible. I feel like the speakers are on the outside ode the car. (Ok that's also because the stock speakers are baaaaaad). I hear the road. The tyres. The a/c. When I go over 140 ohh god. I feel like I am inside the engine bay.

How we can improve this? Simple elegant and cheap?
I heard about dynamit but these products are so expensive.

Is there anyone who fixed the issue of the soundproof?

(Keep in mind that my car is perfect like new. Also I am the only owner. I bought it new. So everything close for good (doors windows etc), there are no missing panels or gaps between them) so it's not only me)

I never ever noticed that my car makes so much sound, before I got into the polo. Now it's pissing me off.

(Sorry for my English)

You bought a cheap car. No sound deadening other than a couple of foam pads here and there.
