Been chatting with Rohvitz on Instagram about hitting up Toyotafest this year. I've never been. He's planning on registering in March, for his second appearance. Would be cool to link up with other SoCal Yaris owners and roll deep.

Registration opens in less than 24 hours and from what I'm told, spots are taken quickly. Here's a link to a gent that lives in my neck of the woods that I've been talking about doing a little caravan with for it.

I just realized today that it falls on the same day as the Canelo vs Chavez Jr fight. As a huge boxing fan, that puts Toyotafest in jeopardy for me - and there's not a lot of time to decide. Given the sham nature of the fight, if there were enough folks interested in doing Toyotafest, I'd probably pass on the fight...

Toyotafest opens up early enough, takes about an hour to see all the cars in the show, and another hour to check out the cars in the parking lot. You'd be out before noon. ;)

If you register to show the car, you'll have to be there all day. Plus they won't start giving out trophies until the end of the event anyway. ;)

Super casual if you're just spectating. A lot of booths from Cabe Toyota, to Wed Wheels and Cusco displaying and selling items! Probably catch a discount if you bring cash. :) I always end up buying a bunch of stickers since they're proven hp mods, best bang for the buck. lol :)

Romario (@rohvitz on Instagram) wants to caravan out there with others in the morning. I'm not sure the logistics will work for me given that I'll have to drop my dog off with either my parents, or at Camp Bow Wow on the way there, but I'm going to try and make it happen. I'll keep you in the loop via this thread in case you want to join up.

Kinda late to the topic, but ill be there as well. My car wont make it to the show, but i hope to see some nice yaris builds there. Couple of friends are showing their tacomas and supras, so ill probably be in that area. if theres a meet up spot of a time let me know.

Nice. I got my instruction letter in the mail recently and noticed I'm in the same row/section as rohvitz, so I'm hoping all the Yaris' will be in the same general area. I won't know how to recognize you in the Tacoma and Supra areas, but if you swing through the Yaris area, make sure to stop in and say hello.

Toyotafest was awesome. I hooked up with about 5 cars at the Krispy Kreme in La Puente early the morning of and we had a nice cruise to the event. Passed through just enough rain to cancel out my fresh color sand/buff and detail job lol. Ultimately, had a killer time and it was really cool getting to meet some of you folks. Already looking forward to next year.

Thanks, NY. I was mostly interested in the black/yellow, but when I learned it was the same one-time and annual cost for personalized numbers/letters, I tried for 1NZFE thinking someone must already have it. Was surprised when it came back available and snatched it up.

Bummer; we can use all the Yaris representation we can get. If we can get 10 Yaris' registered, I believe we get our own category in the show.
