Hi folks
I'm new here. I own 2005 Toyota Vitz RS CVT transmission.

Is this slow or normal acceleration for this type of car? On youtube I was not able to find any accelerations of stock CVT VitsRS to compare to.

I'm not able to watch this until I get home from work, but if you compare this to a Scion or Toyota iQ with a 1.33ltr and CVT, that should give you a good measure.

Motorweek has it at 17.4 @ 80mph and 0-60mph (or 96-98km/h) in 9.5-9.6 seconds, which isn't bad for 94hp and 89tq.

I forgot to mention that it has 1.5ltr engine and 106 hp. It does 0-60 mph in about 10.5-11 sec. Compared to 94hp/9.5sec my car seems too slow right?

Possibly You have a 1NZ-FE and the iQ has a 1NR-FE. The Toyota/Scion iQ is a lighter chassis (1950lbs ROW and 2100lbs USA/CA), higher compression (11.5:1) and a maximum final drive equivalent of 5.40 (not sure what Vitz RS CVT is ???).
