I actually considered the yellow for the lettering on my tire. Am I weird, or would it work?

I think it should look ok. At this point I only want to do the GOODYEAR EAGLE LS lettering in yellow and leave everything else alone.

Nope. That is why I was thinking something as radical as yellow. It should stand out, and either be great, or bad. I really can't imagine any in between with this project.

maybe you can put it on the other side (facing inside) of the tire first just to see? yeah it's a bit more work but if you didn't like it, no harm done...

What I was thinking about doing is covering a few letters with masking tape on one wheel and using the highlighter for some sense of finished product. I would just do a small portion of the lettering and not the whole shabang. Even though the hue would not be spot on it still should give me a sense of the finished look.

I prefer the suttleness to a blackwall low pro tire. I think adding colored lettering will take away from the attractiveness of the rim. that's just me though, it's your car, do what you think looks good. :)

I believe it is much like a permanent marker. It will come off with effort, but not simply wipe off after proper curing time.

Hey thanks, I believe the shade would be a tad darker, but it does give me an idea of what it would look like. Me thinks there is some potential here after all.

Yeah, it is a little light though I grabbed the example picture from the site and used the eyedropper to grab the color off that. Then made the layer overlay to get some of the tire texture to show through.
Here's a darker version.

Billie Bob is sooo 70's . When refering to rednecks in a comical sense , the proper term is "JUNIOR" :headbang: one of the best times I had in my Yaris was stuffin this monster in the back of my Yaris . The Yaris is pretty good in the swamps . Should have seen the look on the Game Warden's face when I came out of the woods . He thought I was lost
