Hi Guys, been a while since I've visited, so long I had to create a new account :/ anway I'm looking for some headers to fit my 2013 YR Yaris with the 1.3lt 2NZ-FE engine, I'm not having much luck here in Australia and am to chicken to pull the trigger on something from overseas that "might" fit.
Also looking for a reasonable cold air kit. Any leads for suppliers that might ship to Australia would be great.

Hi Willie,

I think you will find it's more of a case of fitting the later model Yaris compares to the earlier model. Granted, most of the info on the site here refers to the 1NZ-FE rather than the 2NZ-FE. However, if you look through the modification threads, it's nearly all on the earlier model.

Any aftermarket parts for the Yaris tend to be quite expensive here in Australia - I saw a Whiteline rear sway bar advertise by a reputable suspension business for $330 recently. That price didn't include shipping or fitting. Not that the Australian suspension setup need it unless you are going racing...

Me, I'm enjoying the the fuel economy and the driving fun of my YR. I also have a 2015 Aurion but much prefer driving the Yaris. I leave the Aurion for family outings, and for my Wife to use for commuting.

A 1NZ-FE header should fit without issue. The only differences between the two motors is stoke length.

cheers guys, so I'll see if I can pick up some for a 1NZ-FE then. One thing I notice when googling though is some versions the exhaust is at the front of the engine bay, thats what I'm worried about ending up with the wrong type.

I've already done a custom cat back system, it was a bit obnoxious (crackly) to start with but has run in well and sounds great now.

There are no #NZ-FE motors with the exhaust out the front.
