2012 Yaris hatch vibration at 60ish mph

Just picked up a Yaris for my girl friend a few weeks ago. She drives it in the rural country side for in home health. Anyhow we took the car on a highway trip this weekend and I noticed a vibration from the front when the car reached 60-65 at 55 and under it's not noticeable. The car has fresh tires and otherwise runs without issue. It has right at 76k miles.
I'm leaning towards a wheel bearing but just wanted to see if anyone else had this issue. I saw that the older Yaris's had a vibration at this speed and it was just the nature of them could this be the same?

country road is your answer if dirt roads, check for dirt, mud build up in the rims and wash it out .

Hopefully it's as easy as that. I just hope it's not a symptom of worse things to come. (Transmission )

Stop over thinking... Sounds like wheel balancing issue

My vote is a wheel out of balance. Just because they're new tires doesn't mean they were balanced properly.

Sounds like wheel balance or perhaps a bad tyre.

I think you are referring to a harmonic hum which manifests itself at around 60mph. There are no reported, that I'm aware of, issues stating the car starts to shake at that speed.

Yeah this is more of a pulsation at around 60- 65. It kinda goes like a mmm pause for a half second then another mmm. You can feel it in the floor board. But at 55 you don't notice it.
I am a worry wart though I figure I'll get it looked at when we do a oil change.

and the balance machine happily balances a bent rim and/or lumpy tire. Operator needs to see these things that also cause vibration.

Yeah I'm hoping that's all it is. I'm just used to her old car (2000 cavalier) being broke down every other week. I'm a hypochondriac when it comes to automobiles. Lol

I get it too, but a little more spaced out, more like 2 seconds mmmm and 2 seconds pause, and it happens on several different highways when I'm driving about 55 and up. I figured I was hearing things in my head since there's no vibrations, just the hmmmmming noise. I think there are sounds that could be far worst and alarming than my Yaris humming the hundreds of miles on my road trips. Maybe it's purring ;)

Could be "beating" phenomena--happens when two pulse generators are just slightly out of phase. Like tread blocks hitting pavement on two almost identical front tires. I noted something like that w/ new-to-me 2007 on all seasons on factory steelies. Also loud road noise...had me doing the S-swerves test to check front wheel bearings. Put on 4-set of well worn but amazingly even winters on Mazda steelies and note how loud they are. (Without noting the beat.) Solution: turn off radio and enjoy listening to the very different sounds of different surface textures, gravel and sand coatings, rumble strips, water...

I only hear my car when I don't turn on my sound system :D

I have my head unit switched and powered from my secondary battery, so it's independent from the ignition key position.
