2004 Keyless Entry Question

Did all "SOL" versions of the 2004 come with keyless entry? I am missing a fob on my car if so, but it does unlock and lock all the doors automatically using the driver's door key from the exterior key cylinder.

How could I go about obtaining a matching frequency keyless entry remote fob?

Not sure about asian market cars, but as far as I know, the NA market cars did not come factory equipped with keyless entry. My car I had to add it. It integrated into the factory door lock system and horn.

my 2004 RS also had central power locks which the previous owner had combined with a compustar keyless starter/fob for keyless entry

If your 04 was originally equipped with keyless entry then it's just a matter of getting another fob and programming it to the car (which is quite simple to do). That's a big if, maybe you can check with a dealer if your car was originally equipped with keyless entry.
