Hey guys,

I've been having a really hard time diagnosing my Yaris, I am a new owner and am not super savvy when it comes to engines, but I'm looking to learn. I recently bought my 2007 3 door hatch and everything was fine with it until one day I left the headlamp on and the battery died. I was able to get it started and then after charged again and everything works fine. Everything except now whenever my car is warm and idling it idled reall really rough. It's totally fine if I am driving or giving it gas at all, even at a cold start it has no problems to speak of, but when it is warm and at a stoplight or I am about to park, it sounds(and feels) like it is misfiring! My first thought might be the fuel injectors but I personal don't really know if that would cause this. Has any had a similar situation? Please help!

Whenever the ECU is starved of power (dead or disconnected battery) it needs to relearn fuel trims. This takes some time, and until it has relearned you will experience rough idle.
