Oval brake drum ?

Over the winter I've done a few drifting and donut events in the snow for fun and I think that it may have caused my rear drums to get a radial run-out. Do I have to replace the drums or can it be fixed in any way ? I don't mind replacing the drums since they are all rusty on the outside and you can see the ugly trough my mags, but if I do, which brand/series should I choose (is a $30 Raybesto/ACDelco/Centric/Magnelli drum any good ? Toyota OEM seems a lot more expensive) and do I need to do any preparation ? My shoes are still good in thickness when I checked them in fall, but I wouldn't mind changing them too since they aren't expensive either and why not.

just replace drums if all other stuff still good just brake clean it and lube and adjust.

It's impossible that you could have caused your drums to come out of round.

What exactly are your brakes doing now?

A slight screech or squeeek and more pronounced pulse at a very specific part of the wheel rotation. Definitively coming from the rear.

Likely have burned pad onto the drum. Like illusion said warping a drum is virtually impossible but a burned pad is slightly more possible. Especially when the shoes lock up the shoes and they're hot that can lead to making hot spot on the drum. ( more common in front rotors after slamming on the brakes on a highwag and then holding the brakes down waiting for traffic to move)

What's the fix for such a thing ? If I need to buy parts, I'd like to know ahead so I can do the swap when I'll change my tires and cleanup the rear brakes in a week or two.

You can sand everything.

Live with it. It's a minor annoyance not impacting safety. Car is after all 10+ years old.

Best you can do is take drum out to inspect.
