I just had to fenagle it with more force and did not need to back off shoes.
There is a slight groove but no as much as I was expecting to see in the inside of drum.
I am putting new on btw.
Now that it is off, sprayed and wiped down waht would be acceptable pad thickness in mm.
Thanks as allways.

New is between 3 and 4mm thick. If you are down to 1mm or less, then change them out.

I have 3 in the middle of pad..3 consistent along whole shoe, give or take.
Now my issue is that with new drum on there is ever so slight shoe rub on the inside of drum.
I need to back off the shoes a tad??
I see springs in the middle part of the drum, top botton with a ring that can be turned, should I use that to back off?

Slight shoe rub is good. That is what you want.

Thats what they seem to do.Summers are on know.
I dropped the car 1.5 allround but still lots of gap with 205/45/R16
I may get 205/50/R16 rubber????
****And no I cannot afford new/used or smaller rims period*****
One more thing my continental tires have no writing what so ever regarding pressure, besides do no inflate over 40PSI.Looks like its a guessing game?

Nominal pressure is vehicle based, not tire based.

32psi for the Yaris.
Although, I run 36psi with my Yokohama S.Drive. wears more evenly

I went 36 aswell from looking around with my spec tires.
With new dampers, lowering springs and 205/45/R16 the car feels totally better then stock and it did not even cost all that much considering on the improvement.
Its definitly rougher ride but in a very good way.
I love the yaris so much:wub:
