5 lug conversion on a 2014 Yaris?

Is there a way to convert to 5 lug hubs? I heard somewhere a while ago that you can take hub assemblies from a 2nd gen Prius that they plug and play?

Has anyone ever looked into this? Thanks!

Or some really awful wheel spacer adapters, but then you would have to run about 20mm shorter offset.

Some Spec Miata wheels are ET20. Stock Miata wheels are about the same as ours, 38-45. You'd have to make sure you knew exactly what you were buying to not have problems. The alternative would indeed be to do an xD swap, but there are still some unknowns up front with the axles. Someone on the forums recently put an xD trans in a Gen2 Yaris and had a hell of a time getting the right shafts to mate from the xD differential to the Yaris hubs.

Gotcha. Yeah I'm looking at this conversion because the aftermarket on 4 lug wheels is small compared to 5 lug wheels. I've seen plenty of wheel styles that I like that would fit my car just fine except for being 5 lug. I haven't seen many 4 lug wheels in a style I like (reasonable sizes and offsets) that's really it. I'm not looking for performance gains, just looking to open up the aftermarket selection a bit. Thanks everyone, I guess it's too much of a pain for what it's worth. I was hoping someone here has done it before, thinking I could do it for reasonable cost and effort. No worries guys, I'll just keep looking for 4 lug wheels that I'll like.

Also, I'm not into wheel spacer adapters. That's asking for trouble. I have regular wheel spacers in the same lug pattern (not adapters, per se) in 20mm front and 30mm rear but thats as far as I'll go with spacers. Adapters are trouble. Thanks guys!

You must be looking for some oddball wheel size, because pretty much everything comes in 4-100. 5-100 is a complete bastard, 5-114.3 is only good in bigger sizes.

I dont remember exactly what diameter pattern the 5 lug wheels were that I was looking at, I'll go back and look. There were usually 16 inch and 17 inch wheels by 6 or 7 wide

It can be hard to find "Yaris" wheels, you are better off looking for a 99' Miata fitment, 4-100 and just about the same offset. There is a world of stuff out there in 4-100.

I normally don't search "yaris" wheels, I just search anything with 4x100 pattern, that's it. Perhaps I should expand where I look. Where are some good places to look? I see your Tire Rack link, anywhere else?

4x100 ruled by 90s civics, miatas, e30/2002 bmws and toyota front wheel drive cars. Only thing i hate is the offset is usually found +30 or less...or 8 inches wide.
