How to set the clock.

Been meaning to chase this one up for a while, had the car since 2009 and man, how do you set the clock on this radio? The car book has not got this model in it. I've tried heaps of button combos, apparently not the right ones, anyone know this one? Thanks.

Interesting. My U.S. OEM radio didn't have a clock display. The only clock in my car is on the cluster, left of the speedo. I think it'd be a little weird to have a clock on the cluster and another just below on the radio, no? Are you certain it's supposed to have the clock option? Maybe there just isn't a clock on the radio.

Yea, it's got a clock on it. We mostly use just the center dash one too, because it's easy to set. I'll get around to snapping another pic of it with the key turned to on.

Ok, sorry about being tardy, here is a picture with the power on, radio off. It's clearly a clock, the : even flashes as per seconds.

That radio is a Fujitsu Ten 122001-82300151. Toyota's part number is 08600-00997. That's all I was able to find, and it didn't help. :hitcomputer:

Have you tried holding the "mute" button for 3 seconds or so? How about holding the tune knob button? What's that blank button in the top left?

With the stereo turned off, try press and hold the AM button, then press 1 to adjust hours, press 2 to adjust minutes.

The blank is just a blank, not a button at all.

I've tried holding the power button, tune button, the mute, the text, the eject, while pressing the numbers. I don't recall trying the AM though, I'll give it a try later. :)

Yep, that did it. :) Thank you. Funny how I can build and tune my own car, (2003 peanut wrx), but couldn't figure out this darn clock. :)

Next up will be the headlight auto off mod. I always put crap on my mum that my car has auto off lights, joking of course. :) She misses it too as she used to have a Subaru Liberty. I always wonder why did Toyota not just fit a relay instead of a buzzer? I mean they went to the trouble of detecting the lights were still on while the key was out. I've got the parts and the guide thanks to this great site, just have to get the opportunity to have that car and the time to actually do it.

For the radio clock adjustment, hold down the button labeled clock (also for switching between am/fm) and press the H (1) and M (2) buttons to change hour and minutes. For the cluster clock, press and hold the right lever (lhd models, for rhd its the far left lever on the cluster guage) till you see the hour flashing and press the same lever to change.
