2012-14 Manual Transmisson Yaris

The whole car, L or SE, must be manual. Black, mag gray, or silver, in that order. Willing to fly and drive it home. The very few I find are overpriced or in small cities where air fare costs a fortune. The very few I've seen within 120 miles, I've missed out on.

Anybody know of one available to buy? My theory is these cars are getting so cheap that lots don't bother to buy ads on the Autotrader or Cars.com type sites.

When I was looking for mine, it seemed like Texas had a good number of them for sale. Just keep your eye on cragslist and one you like will come up eventually. Toyota didn't move many Yarii after 2009 or so, and manual definitely narrows it down, but at least the colors you like are pretty common.

Thanks scratch, but believe me, I've looked a TON... like two or three times per week at least. There have only been a few in the Dallas area in the last few couple of years. One was on Craigslist just a few weeks ago -- wrote the owner about it as soon as I saw it, but he never got back to me and then it was marked sold. Should have bought one that had 100k at a dealership at the same time, and I'm still kicking myself over that one. (Weird that none exist for years and then suddenly two do at the same time!)

I should add that there have been a few good candidates for the 2007-11 body style, one even in my own town. But I've decided to stick to the 2012-14 version.

Do you or anyone else have any ideas for where I could look? I currently look on Autotrader, Cars.com, Craigslist, and sometimes iseecars.com and carsforsale.com. I look on Carmax occasionally, but they always seem overpriced and won't negotiate. (Edit, forgot Cargurus.com... I like that one.) Maybe there are some newer sites I'm missing.

Thanks, Mustang... I've had that one in my favorites for a while now. They just reduced it by 1000. But I really don't like white cars at all. If it were black or gray I'd be all over it. Maybe I'm too picky on that, but then I kind of feel like if I've waited this long I should get one of the three colors I really want. :)

Hey, maybe you could put a wrap on it?? Should be able to do that for 1,000 or less right? Or get a carbon fiber hood, etc..

Here's a leftover 2016 that's brand new AND in black. See if they'll sell it to you cheap. It's a carbon copy of my car... even down to the side moldings and rear spoiler being added hahaha. It's in Fort Wayne, Indiana. If it helps, I can send you a copy of my buyer's order thing to show them that I got mine for just over 12 grand for a new one.

I personally don't like non se models. I hate cars with drum brakes!! That was the biggest thing I disliked about our 2007 sedan. That and it was automatic.

Well, if Toyota didn't make finding a new SE with a stick almost impossible, I'd have bought one of those instead of the L. But I kind of wanted the two door (it's a car just for me really, not for other people) and they don't offer the higher models with that.

Plus, I've learned my lesson to a certain extent on solid beam rear axle cars with disk brakes... it's a PITA to align the rear end if needed.

It's wierd, I used to only like 2 door cars, it's just so convenient to have rear doors. It's amazing how good the Yaris is of a car. I want a gazoo so bad!!

I was disappointed when I saw that car was a 2 door, but it looks like it doesn't matter for the united States anyway

Oh yeah, I put k&n drop in filter on mine, always use the best oil and change it regularly, new toyo extensa hps, twm base and shifter cable bushings and put on micro image shifter cable short shifter. Legal tint and avs window visors.
