Removing arm for vertical position mod.
My wiper arm is seized on and have seen pics of what happens if you try to pull arm off(Brute forcing)...not pretty.I have soaked with penetrationg oil yesterday aswell.
Just curious if anyone here has used a specific tool that works well with the yaris,or if any arm tool would/should work.
Here is the tool considering getting.
I would ask this question on Reddit's general car questions but come here as usual because need yaris specific info.
Thanks.

For a fee comparable to buying a tool, you can probably just get a shop to pull it for you.

Maybe I just leave the gearing on mine and adjust wiper position??
I moved it the other position and it still moves the same...The actual motor itself need to be reversed.
If you look at his whole assembly its reversed to mine(Motor position.)
It must be a european model or diferent year model yaris then mine.

You need to find a little independent that doesn't always go by hourly or job cost billing. Every town has a place that keeps little shit off the books. No receipt issued, no ridiculous over-billing for a couple minutes work.

I hit with hammmer while pressure with puller and it broke free.
I followed this to T but my still spins wrong. The issue is with the long screwy gear thingy..this is what needs reverse threading.

This mod thing does not work unless my motor assembly is different then what post shows.
Another way it to reverse the motor direction to go in reverse.

The motor direction does not need to be reversed. By relocating the long arm 180 degrees from its original location, the motor will pull the blade down from the rest position rather than pushing up from rest.

I think i may have it...I will post back after it stops snowing...Canadas climate sucks big time.
I think my problem is that I rush as I have such little time for personal things/hobbies/car mods.

Figured it out finally...
Blade should get more heat in the winter know. While I was at it I lined the entire inside of hatch/spare tire area with Uxcell Absorption Deadener.Less noise know for sure.
