This may be a long shot but does anyone know of a CV axle that will fit the Yaris trans and hubs (correct side splines) but is slightly shorter for the drivers side (left) axle?

For some reason my 2zr being wider pushed the trans closer to the drivers side and it's maxing out the cv axles compression. It still drives fine with some modification to engine mounts, but I'm curious to know if anyone is aware of a slightly shorter axle.

From reading other posts it is my understanding that the Scion xd axle is slightly longer so that it a no.

How much do you need to shorten it? Best option might be to remove the CVs and have a machine shop shorten the center shaft, and then cut new splines.

I don't know of any axles but I do have a question for you, skimmed through your build thread and I saw that you used both left and right xD engine mounts. I know Armstrong only used one of the xD mounts in his swap, just curious if this is why you have compression on the driver's side axle. Don't recall seeing Armstrong say anything about axle issues in any of his threads. Just curious.
