This was the very first mod to the Yaris for me, needed just a lil more boom in the trunk :)

I'm sure there are better ways to go about doing this and some of them I realized after finishing the project, but it still only took me a few days of work and the finished product is VERY oem-ish.

Damn  I'll pay you if you do one for me. Better than having a big box in the trunk, whats the set up?

2 8" Rockford subs with a Blau PCA2100 on them, VERY light setup yet sounds awesome. I've been into stereo's for over 10 years with cars, this is a great full sounding setup. It doesnt pound like my wife's car with 2 15's and 3000watts, but it keeps me plenty happy.

The subs only need .25/sub of space and 150rms max I believe. I plan on throwing 500rms to the pair when I have a few bucks to spare. Right now it works fine for me though. OH and I paid $90 shipped for the pair at crutchfield ;)

Stock radio FTW too!!! I love the stock radio so far, I have LOTS and LOTS of MP3's.

Here's my ghetto-fab sirius install. I bought the smallest receiver I could find and then mounted it in the change pocket to the left of the steering wheel

That's a very very nice sub setup, looks good and does not waste useful space. Like Siskel and Ebert would say:

wow. that looks awesome, great job!
i'm halfway through my install right now and am gonna use the stock radio too. where did you get your remote turn on signal from? did the radio have one or did you end up using a cigarette lighter lead?

SWEET! How much are you going to charge for that panel?

I'm not charging anything, it was a one-off.

If you remove the pass seat, good spot for an amp anyway, there's a switched 12v leadfor the irbag controller or something. Made things SUPER easy :)

You rock! I wish I could tackle a fiberglass project.
Does the hatch cover still fit on? Couldn't tell from the first picture.

whoever manufactures those... will be a rich man. id prefer a single 8 tho, it would allow easier opening of the floor.
