Hello,
I've made some of these shift knobs to sell, I currently have 3 for sale of the tall profile, and will be making more of the low profile styles.
What I have made is a shift knob that allows the use of any BMX, MTB, or other 7/8" handlebar grip and bar end plug as your shift knob.
I make two styles, the "Normal" is a taller 6" long unit that is left that length to accept nearly any grip on the market, and allows the use of a lock nut for simple and secure installation.
The "Low Profile" is shortened to the exact length of a FSA Gravity clip on grip, but would likely accept many other grips (longer grips would just hang over the bottom slightly...Likely not a big deal. And also features recessed threads to allow it to sit ~1.5" lower. (With the TWM shifter it sits roughly stock height maybe a bit below).
Either will let you pick many many many different styles of grip to customize your look and feel, and will feel as study as a OEM knob.

Low Profile: $40 (+$10 to include FSA Gravity grip)
