I noticed this last summer and recently working on the rear drum brakes. Most of the lines are coated in plastic, some of the ends were coated in green poly. The two long ones I had running to the back had some scaly rust at the end and I coated them last year in undercoating, and again with heavy grease to help preserve them. Anyone else notice this on there cars?

I always coat my brake line ends in a fluid film anytime in in that area because of this. On any car I've owned the end that you put a wrench in get corroded pretty easily

Wondering if this is fine or I should just replace the ends. Dont plan on keeping the car long, getting another newer toyota.

Those are fine. That is just minor oxidation there.
