My buddy sent me a shot of my car in the employee parking lot. I'm on a trip and I just can't wait to get behind the wheel again and blast home. This thing screams for an SE grill...

I hear that! I always miss my car on business trips. I try my best to rent a Yaris whenever I can, and it's always funny to hear the rental people asking why I would want to downgrade from a Jeep.

Oh I know what you mean. They look at you like you have five heads. When I go to rental companies I ask for a compact or sub compact just so I can compare the competition. I'm usually let down. This is one of 3 cars in my life that I get excited to drive.

A rental Yaris, was behind my decision to buy a Yaris.

What are the other 2?

i play a lot of driving games, (well, i used to) and i had a Yaris (vitz) that was a money car in one of the Grand Turismo. (3 or 4) the only upgrade it had was racing axles, whatever that means. i logged over 300 miles in that car.
when i first made it, it was a joke car. i had real detailed rust all over it, and i had multiple layers of different colored mud splatter just right. it was kinda a joke art piece i made one night. but then i drove it and it was so much fun! when found one for sale i jumped right on it!

That song is a trip! Usually, you hear songs about cars from the 60's, "Little GTO" or "Mustang Sally" comes to mind. This one, however, takes the win! :headbang: My other 2 cars that I loved to drive were a 1986 Mazda RX-7 and a 2006 Subaru WRX. The Mazda had a dual exhaust with a set of high flow cats and mufflers and thats it. That sucker would rev to the heavens but not much action below 3000 RPM. My neighbor worked for Greddy and hooked me up with some JDM Gab Motorsport wheels. I loved that thing. My WRX was short lived because we had a kid shortly after I bought it and the wife wanted a 4Runner.
