I probably left out hip-hop because i am a Hip-Hop newbie.
It wasn't the first genre that came into my mind. :confused:

But hey i'd be happy if you'd introduce me to 90's Hip Hop, since i only know the regular songs, like Changes from Tupac, Gangsta's Paradise from Coolio and Check Yo Self from Ice Cube. Like the super regular songs that probably everyone knows.

All Japanese girl hard rock band playing in maid costumes ? Sounds weird, but Japan is basically all about being weird. But you'll understand.

I guess some of you may know the viral band Babymetal which is a Japanese metal group consisting of 3 girls. 1 girl is 18 the other 2 are just 16 years old. Anyways this band has kind of become a meme and has gone viral. Their music is very unconventional. It's ok, but a little over hyped.

But once you watched a Japanese metal band you start to wonder is there more ?
And the YouTube algorithm knows what you are thinking so quickly YouTube is recommending you other Japanese/Taiwanese/Chinese etc. metal and rock bands.
And there is a lot of talent out there.

I was skeptical at first too, because Japan is mostly known for J-POP, but Japan has all kinds of music obviously. One more reason to love Japan besides Toyotas :thumbup:

One at a main stage and another in the so called "Metal church"
Which is pretty ironic because some people say that Metal is satanic.
But the local community allowed to give concerts in the church.
The song i'm posting is a little different to what Tarja usually does, but here voice is amazing and i really like her interpretation of this song.

I was riding the subway a few days ago when this guy gets on with a portable PA and starts rapping. That in itself is not that unusual, I've seen rappers, singers, magicians, break dancers, poets, etc. of various skill perform on the subway. Beats the straight up beggars. Although I'm not big into the rap genre for some reason this guy stuck in my head and I found myself groovin' to his beats days later, so much so I just did a web search and found the one song that's really stuck in my head.
